I'm still alive
When I posted my last post I had meant to post a bunch of things. Last time I tried to do that I posted nothing so this time I decided to upload the first thing then the rest after I got it done. Well its not getting done. lol. We have been busy and I just haven't been online much. Lots has happened that I wanted to post about.
Ro had her 2 mos appt on Monday. She isn't 2 mos till Friday. She weighed 12.5 lbs! She is at the 90%tile for weight and the 97%tile for height. That explains why she isn't very chubby. I knew she was growing but she stull has her skinny nb legs. I'm very happy the nursing is going so well. She still sleeps a lot. While awake she is almost always nursing, fussing or being changed. She has smiled a few times. It's hard to get a pic of her with her eyes open.
I got af last week. At first I thought it might be just spotting but it lasted 5 days. Sigh. I don't like af. Most don't of course. I'm not ready for another baby yet so getting af is annoying. I'm not willing to use bc. I've tried most and I'd rather be pg than use them again. It was nice for af to stay away as bc caused our biggest fights. I'm charting so I'll know when to test. As a test addict at least that part of me is happy lol.
We are buying a little travel trailer. Reg has been looking into trailers for over a year. He likes travelling. I don't really. I like roller coasters so he mentioned that with a trailer we could visit more amusement parks. I have lots of allergies. Almost all motel rooms give me asthma. Last time we went to Florida I kept thinking we would have been better off camping than staying in the motel we stayed in. The idea of packing to go camping has kept us from camping for many years. I had said to Reg in the past that I'd love a little trailer with just a bathroom and kitchen in it. I don't mind sleeping in a tent but I miss having a toilet and kitchen. He had the idea of sleeping in it while travelling. When we would get to a camp ground the kids can set up their tents.
Yesterday we had the hitch installed. The place we bought the trailer from said we needed to have a wielder install it. They had sold us a pkg deal including the hitch but phoned us to say they made a mistake. The local guy that usually does them was on vacation so they gave us a few numbers. One was in a town we never go to and another was almost 2 hours away. We ended up going into the city. At least we could stop at the stores we know on the way back. The hitch was easily instally with 6 bolts. I can't believe we drove 80 min just to have something bolted on. This morning Reg went to our mechanic to get the oil changed. He said he could have done it. He teased Reg for having the biggest van and pulling one of the smallest trailers lol.
Tomorrow we get the trailer. I'm excited and nervous. Its the 3rd most expensive thing we bought. I hope we like it!
I've been sticking to my plan but I'm not losing any weight. I was hoping to lose 2 lbs a week and in July I lost about 7. I try hard to not let the numbers get me but after 2 weeks losing and gaining the same pound its time to give up on saying its water. On Monday I cut back my cals from 1700 to 1500. So far I haven't noticed a difference in how hungry I am. I'll pay attention to my milk supply. I'm also worried that I will just reduce my metabolism.
M had asked to go bungee jumping for her bday. I thought she'd change her mind or was just testing to see if we'd let her. She didn't and we said yes. I have no idea why she picked that. Last summer she went on the Slingshot at LaRonde. Ch dragged her on it. She didn't seem like she wanted to be on it at all. Reg brought her too Great Canadian Bungee. The jump is 200 feet off a crane. The crane is beside a cliff so to get to the top you climb a hill then cross a walkway over to the crane. It shakes. M asked to have her head dipped. She actually jumped but was dipped up to her shorts. Reg said she was very brave.

July Points
I did really well in July! I had 3 off tracker days but I exercised and drank my water every day. Exercising is so much easier that I'm not pg. The only problem is the time. We only exercise for 30 min but its hard to have an uninterupted 30 min. I have been hoping to have over 90% and I did over 95%! I haven't been online much but I have getting lots of 4 pt daysposted by ma @ 12:52 PM 07/08/2005
